FEYST 2011, encompassing the 4th Indie Youth Fest, Digital Delirium Xpo and Go International E-sports Cup, is an annual event that aims to provide a platform for young talents in the music industry, particularly those in the independent music genre, to meet, network and perform. This year, it will be held from the 6th till 10th May 2011 at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. The FEYST 2011, currently in its fourth year, is held in conjunction with the Sweden Malaysia Innovation Days forum and exhibition. This fun-filled three days of music, games and good music is expected to attract over 30, 000 youngsters. FEYST also hopes to be the platform for all young Malaysian innovators out there to showcase their creativity and ingenuity as other than the FEYST free concert, there will also be an Innovative Challenge competition open to everyone. As with most of Sweden’s innovations, all contents created throughout this five-day festival will be made available to the public via social media network like Facebook and Twitter. The organisers are set to upload over 1,000,000 megabytes of digital content on their network of social media sites as well as the FEYST website – www.feyst.com.
