The Endau Rompin National Park is the second largest national park located on the Peninsular Malaysia. The park covers an area of approximately 870 square kilometres and straddles two states in the Peninsular – Pahang and Johor. Malaysians will always be grateful to the two individuals who first highlighted its importance in nature, namely H.W Lake and Lieutenant H.J. Kelsall. It was these two individuals who first went into the Endau-Kluang area to conduct scientific research and documentation on the area. They recorded and noted a healthy number of large animals traversing the area.
