The restaurant’s previous incarnation, Sigi’s by the Sea, was highly regarded and immensely popular in Penang Island. The lavish makeover has turned out very well, elevating the restaurant to even greater heights. Sigi’s Bar and Grill on the Beach new redesign now offers its patrons a lovely Western dining experience, with an elegant menu of dishes amidst a tropical beach paradise setting.

To commemorate its first anniversary, the restaurant has put together an exclusive anniversary set menu, with a selection of appetisers, main courses and desserts drawn from bestselling and new dishes. The appetisers include Gourmet Flat Bread, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Arancini Balls stuffed with Mushroom and Pea Risotto, and Wild Mushroom Soup. For the main courses, diners can choose between a wood-fire Chicken Tandoori Pizza, Prawn Tagliatelle Pasta, Peppino’s Classic Lasagne, the healthy option of Pan-roasted Chicken Breast and Sigi’s signature Fish and Chips. The menu comes complete with desserts such as Chilled Rice Pudding with Strawberry Soup and White Chocolate, Bread and Butter Pudding or Chocolate Tarte as well as coffee and tea. Sigi’s is also launching a major update to its à la carte menus with 19 new dishes in the appetiser, main course and dessert sections.The new highlights include Beef Cheek and Shallot Pie, Sigi’s Paella in a special serving for two persons, Lobster Pizza, Pumpkin and Spinach Rotolo, Lobster Linguine, and Salmon and Avocado Terrine. The menus also include the addition of classic desserts such as Sticky Date Pudding and Bread and Butter Pudding.
