About Hannan Seafarmer Sdn Bhd
Established in 2011, Hannan Seafarmer core business is green mussel aquaculture. Using the technology from Smart - Farm Norway, the company is transforming the mussel farming business in the country from the current traditional method to modern and commercially viable approach. With the technology, the previously known labor-intensive industry will become technology intensive.
The site - located in the Straits of Johor in Johor (Malaysian - Singapore border) - is well known for mussel farming and currently
producing 90% of the country mussel production.
Hannan Seafarmer is developing its own processing facility that will be able to process about 11,000 ton of fresh mussel annually meant for both local and overseas market.
