This package offers you the unforgettable experience of climbing one of South East Asia's highest mountains, Mount Kinabalu. Spice up this moderately challenging moutain climb by experiencing the world's highest via ferrata located on Mount Kinabalu. Marvel at nature's diversity as your ascent takes you through tropical rainforests to the craggy peaks of the mountain summit. This experience is suitable to both seasoned hikers and tourists alike without the need of any mountaineering equipment.

Itinerary
Day 1: Ascend Mount Kinabalu

Early morning transfer from Kota Kinabalu to National Park Head quarters. Your adventure begins at Timpohon Gate, after registering at the Park Headquarters for guides and porters. The journey up the mountain leads you along a well-maintained track through the green canopy of trees and plants. Pace yourself out and remember to take the time to admire the unique beauty of your surroundings. The trek comes to an end at a designated rest point at the 3353 metre altitude mark, where lodging facilities have been built specifically to cater to climbers and tourists alike. Attend a familiarization exercise on via ferrata conducted by your via ferrata trainer in the afternoon and relax at the Pendant Hut in preparation for tomorrow's activities.

Day 2: Summit and Descend

In the morning, make your final ascent to the mountain summit and admire the breathtaking view from the top of one of South East Asia's highest peaks. Then proceed to your via ferrata experience and venture onto the Walk the Torq circuit – one of the worlds highest via ferrata circuits. When ready, return to Pendant Hut and prepare to descend the mountain. Your marvelous adventure comes to a close as a trip returns you to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu later in the day.

What to Bring: Please bring sun block lotion, personal toiletries, hat, good walking/trekking shoes, windbreaker, towel, torchlight, waterproof gloves, raincoat, water bottle, energy food and personal medical kit including headache tablet and paracetamol for altitude sickness.

Note: This tour is not recommended for those with weak heart conditions, fears of heights, difficulty breathing at high altitudes, or unfit physical conditions.
