Day 1: Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara
Your trip to Taman Negara begins with a morning journey from Kuala Lumpur that ends at Kuala Tembeling, Pahang. A cruise upriver in a boat takes you to your destination, Taman Negara Resort in Kuala Tahan, where an air-conditioned chalet awaits. In the evening, sit down to an interesting slide presentation and get close with the wild during the Night Jungle Walk.
Day 2: In Taman Negara
It's a day of exploration as you make your way to Bukit Teresek, which offers a panoramic view of Gunung Tahan and the surrounding forests. Walk among treetops along the Canopy Walkway, a 500 metre bridge suspended 30 to 40 metres in the air, and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Another of the day's highlights is a leisurely trip to the cascading waterfall at Lata Berkoh. Go for a refreshing swin in the deep pool just below the falls, or relax on the numerous rocks that dot the falls.
Day 3: In Taman Negara
Another day of discovery awaits as you explore several well known caves in the park, including Gua Kepayang, Gua Daun Menari and Gua Telinga. Marvel at the various limestone rock formations and the unique cave dwelling animals and insects.
Take an exhilarating 45 minute ride upstream towards Kuala Treggan later in the day as you negotiate Sungai Tembeling's famous seven sets of rapids. Remember to hold on and be ready to get wet!
Day 4: Taman Negara to Kuala Lumpur
Enjoy a morning river cruise as you head back to Kuala Tembeling. Relax and reminisce as you journey back to Kuala Lumpur during the afternoon.
