Kilim Geoforest Park
Only 20 minutes by car from Kuah, Kilim Geoforest Park is the first ever geopark in Southeast Asia, meaning it is home to artefacts of geological significance. Stretching for 100 square kilometers, some of its most striking features are its remote islands, mangrove forests, beaches and caves surrounded by the mint-green Andaman Sea. Large limestone rocks create an unmatched landscape cloaked in Langkawi’s native flora and fauna. As well as untouched forests, the geopark guards geological, biological and cultural resources.

Pulau Payar Marine Park
This marine park is a famous destination for both snorkeling and SCUBA diving enthusiasts. Located 30 kilometers from Langkawi, it is a 45-minute boat ride and consists of more than two nautical miles of marine park space. The islands surrounding the park are uninhabited with zero tolerance for fishing of any kind, meaning an abundance of fish and other marine animal life thrive in the park’s waters. Live coral surrounds much of the park. Accepted visitor activities includes snorkeling, SCUBA diving, swimming and baby shark feeding.

Langkawi Wildlife Park
Up to 5.5 acres of land, the Langkawi Wildlife Park features more than 150 species of animals as well as thrilling activities such as guided tours and feeding sessions with the animals. Open daily, visitors will be able to handle some of the animals including an ensemble of birds belonging to the park’s aviary exhibit. A triple winner of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, the park is a memory-packed place for families seeking an up-close-and-personal experience with native animal species. Launched in 2002, the park includes a fully covered walkway that allows visitors to enjoy the attractions in all seasons.
