Malacca’s leading performing arts location, the Encore Melaka Theatre is on the city’s waterfront. Originally designed by the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, the modern theater seats more than 2,000 spectators and offers a unique 360-degree rotating platform. The unique engineering of the rotating auditorium further elevates stage shows, allowing guests to fully experience theatrics from all angles. The venue is also equipped with state-of-the-art sound and projection mapping systems, for a fully immersive experience.

Panggung Bangsawan Melaka

This local theater includes frequent collaborative performances between local and international artist groups. Panggung Seri, Kompleks JKKN, Melaka

This performing art theater serves as a center for cultural activities and promotions in the state of Malacca. The complex focuses on the research, development and implementation of cultural arts coaching and growth of state cultural programs. Operated by the National Department for Culture and Arts, the center regularly holds events, seminars, classes and more related to traditional Malaysian arts and performances. Located close to the Seri Malaysia Melaka Hotel, the center is popular with the local community for presenting cultural performances, celebrations and festivals.
